Senate Unveils 64-Page NDAA Amendment to Fast-Track UAP Records Disclosure, Create an Official UAP Records Collection and Independent Review Board

A bipartisan bill led by Chuck Schumer and supported by Mike Rounds, Kristen Gillibrand, and Marco Rubio would amend the fiscal 2024 NDAA to create a National UAP Records Collection with a $20 million allocation, require federal agencies to identify copies of UAP records and index them using 22 defined terms, establish an independent UAP Records Review Board to oversee disclosures and hearings, and mandate public release of all UAP records within 25 years unless the president certifies a national security exception.
