Commander David Fraver, former commanding officer of Strike Fighter Squadron 41, the Black Aces, describes chasing a white tic-tac object in 2004 as it fell from above 80,000 feet to about 20,000 feet, loitered for hours, and then darted away with maneuvers that defied conventional tech. His wingman, nicknamed Tom Gun, and other crews observed the scene from high cover while Fraver and another aircraft closed in for a closer look.
