UFO Sightings Around the World: A WebGL Globe Visualization of about 88,000 National UFO Reporting Center Reports (Chrome Experiments, 2018)

To the point

In October 2018, Maya Man, Sonia Grunwald, Peter Xenopoulos, and Edwin Villafane created a Chrome Experiments project that uses a WebGL globe to visualize about 88,000 geocoded UFO reports from the National UFO Reporting Center, with 500 centroids representing clusters by height, plus pages showing histograms of year, shapes, and US distribution, all to openly share the data and help people understand UFO sighting patterns despite uncertainties in the reports.
