A private, science-driven effort called UAP eXpeditions, led by Kevin Day with Dr. Kevin Knuth as science lead and contributors such as Rizwan Virk and Deep Prasad, aims to systematically study unidentified aerial phenomena off the California coast by combining satellite imagery, manual and machine review, and a future MV Horizon research vessel equipped with high-powered cameras, infrared gear, drones, and detectors to produce reproducible, testable observations, with Luis Elizondo no longer participating.
