Joe Hoxha of Bristol has introduced HB 5422 to have the University of Connecticut partner with state agencies to study unidentified aerial phenomena and possibly establish a state UAP research center, a bipartisan effort backed by Rep. Aundre Bumgardner and supported by Yale PhD student Sri Tata and Rep. Martin Foncello to consolidate scattered data and inform policy with rigorous science, even as the 2024 AARO assessment found no evidence linking UAPs to alien technology.
