No Signals Detected in the 6–18 GHz Sardinia Survey, Setting a 1.8×10^19 W Isotropic Power Limit for ~5×10^5 Stars

To the point

Exploring higher-frequency technosignature signals, a Sardinia Radio Telescope survey at 6 and 18 GHz searched toward the Galactic Center and 72 TESS targets, found no convincing extraterrestrial signals but set new limits on radio emissions from about 500,000 stars and suggested that higher frequencies may be more promising because the spectrum is less crowded.
