Case Report: Spherical #UFO Sighted Near Cripple Creek, CO (Jan 6, 2026)

On January 6, 2026 at 10:43 a.m., a public report described a spherical object traveling northeast. Because it originated publicly, it did not reach the broader real-time network until vetting was complete. The witness promptly responded to an automatic data request and provided a cropped photo of the object in the sky. There were no ground references to gauge size, but using an Earth distance tool, the object was located about 2.82 miles north-northeast of Creek, Colorado. The witness filmed the sky with an iPhone rigged for slow motion and captured the object on video; there is also a 2022 video of a similar-looking object dated November 21, 2022, at 8:49 a.m. Mountain Time. Since the object was not visible to the naked eye and was reported only after reviewing the video, the alert was not forwarded to the broader network because there would have been nothing to triangulate. In short, a public report described a spherical orb near Creek, Colorado, captured on camera, with no UFO-sense device or nearby equipment registering the event; the nearest other device was about 9 miles due west. The notice thanks the contributor and notes ongoing efforts to coordinate data from multiple sources to determine whether exotic craft might be flying overhead.
