Kindergarten and third-grade students wrote alien-themed stories illustrated by Seth Holmes, displayed in downtown storefronts during a March StoryWalk and returned March 20 for a brief Q&A with him, in the second year of the Students as Authors program within a broader partnership with the library, Camp Penn, Mainstreet Waynesboro Inc., and local businesses, with Allison Beaudry explaining the idea and why aliens were chosen, and three annual StoryWalk Takeover events that showcase Holmes’s watercolor art.
