Investigative journalist Jeremy Corbell, co-host of the WEAPONIZED podcast, warned on The Sunday Briefing that unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) are outmaneuvering U.S. military forces in restricted airspace, posing a national security threat assessed for decades. He cited declassified footage, such as a 2021 video over Syria and a 2019 incident off San Diego involving the USS Omaha, where a UAP vanished without splash or debris, demonstrating instantaneous motion with impossible acceleration and no apparent propulsion. Corbell emphasized that these capabilities surpass those of U.S., Chinese, or Russian warfighters. Congress, including statements from former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, is demanding the release of 46 UAP videos. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s Task Force on Declassification, highlighted the threat to military readiness. Corbell asserts UAPs are a known secret within government, frequently loitering over sensitive U.S. infrastructure and evading detection, and that the American public deserves transparency.
