Roswell Festival 2026: Panels, Witnesses, and a Community Celebration of UFO Inquiry

Roswell Festival 2026

At Roswell Festival 2026, a weekend fused UFO research discussions with an alien visitation celebration, featuring panel talks with Don Schmitt, Travis Walton, Kathleen Marden, Ben Hansen, Thom Reed, Frank Kimbler, Marc D’Antonio, and Dennis Balthaser; on the Abduction Panel the Pascagoula 1973 Hickson/Parker case was cited with witnesses named in an Air Force document while Kathleen Marden referenced corroborations in the Barney and Betty Hill case; Kathleen noted updated Marjorie Fish star-map work linking Zeta Reticuli to some visitors, acknowledging outdated data due to revised star distances and omission of red dwarfs; attendees shared sightings from a blue-hazed egg-shaped object to a triangular craft and glow-balls reminiscent of WWII Foo fighters, with repeaters discussed as a legitimate category, and the discussion emphasized not dismissing witnesses and included a 1967 sighting of a lone point of light in polar orbit; Roswell conversations also covered destruction of classified materials, purge of intelligence documents, FOIA experiences, and Maria Tellier of MUFON New Mexico offered a take on the 1964 Holloman landing tale though acknowledging controversy; beyond research, the festival featured alien-themed commerce, food, and a parade, an unscripted onstage moment where Schmitt and a fellow participant teamed up to signal ongoing collaboration next year, and a forthcoming book, UFO Sightings and Alien Visitation, announced for August 25 with footnote-driven analysis, potential case solutions, and reinforcement of the reality of others.
