The latest data from the All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office show more than 300 UAP reports nationwide in the year ending May 2025, with a notable maritime incident off Virginia Beach involving about 100 airborne UAPs and two likely unmanned surface systems from U.S. Navy assets. Senator Tim Kaine says protections against aerial unmanned systems are improving, but notes gaps compared with threats deployed from land or water. The report echoes earlier testimony from a Navy pilot based at Oceana about phenomena detected about 10 miles off Virginia Beach, and references 2023 drone sightings over Langley Air Force Base that were never fully explained. The Pentagon warns that if the recent claims are real, they would constitute an unmitigated threat. Kaine says he has no further information on the Virginia Beach claim, and the nationwide tally lists more than 300 claims while explaining fewer than half.
