Paranormal Muskegon - "The M Files"
On the evening of January 1st, either 1994 or 1995, a very bright, unusual blue light illuminated the sky and the inside of a car in Muskegon, creating an intense brightness comparable to daylight. The light occurred three times over about 40 seconds, each lasting 4-5 seconds, steady and silent, without flashing or movement like a searchlight or lightning. The witness, traveling east on Southern Avenue with family, initially suspected a police spotlight but saw no source or vehicles nearby. Later, a co-worker reported a similar sighting nearby, reinforcing that others also observed the phenomenon. The event was puzzling and unsettling, with no apparent rational explanation; neither searchlights, lightning, airplane lights, meteors, bolides, fireballs, nor weather anomalies could account for it.
