Robert Emenegger and Allan Sandler were invited to create a UFO documentary based on promises of authentic Holloman AFB footage—describing three disc-shaped crafts and grey beings with a translator device—with claims by Paul Shartle of having seen a 16mm film and support from Col. William Coleman and Col. George Weinbrenner, but the promised 3200 feet of film was withdrawn after Watergate, and the project became the 1974 documentary with animated reconstructions and a 1979 rerelease narrated by Jacques Vallée that promotes disclosure and unity.
