Scientists narrowed more than 6,000 exoplanets to 45 rocky worlds most likely to have liquid water by lying in or near the habitable zone and receiving a similar amount of energy as Earth, using Gaia and NASA data, highlighting TRAPPIST-1f and LHS 1140 to guide future observations in the search for life, said Abigail Bohl and co-author Gillis Lowry.
