Defense Expert Explains Top-Secret U.S. Ufo Investigation
Dr. James Lacatski, a former intelligence analyst and rocket specialist for the Defense Intelligence Agency, led the largest U.S. government-funded UFO investigation in history. In 2007, he and a colleague proposed a secret program called the Advanced Aerospace Weapons System Application Program (AAWSAP), which included the investigation of Skinwalker Ranch as a site for UFO and paranormal phenomena. Funded covertly by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and two senators, AAWSAP operated in secrecy for 27 months in Las Vegas, employing 50 full-time investigators, many with military or law enforcement backgrounds. The program created the world’s largest UFO database. According to Reid, funding was withdrawn because the investigation went far beyond typical flying saucer reports.
